## Integer Addition Part I

### Integer Addition: Learn

If one of the integers is negative and the other positive,
subtract the absolute values (absolute value is also known as *magnitude*)
and keep the sign of the number with the larger magnitude.

Examples:

14 + (-6) = 8

-14 + 6 = -8

If both integers have the same sign (both positive or both negative), add the absolute values and keep the same sign that they have.

Examples:

14 + 6 = 20

-14 + (-6) = -20
