Perimeter of a Square
Perimeter: Learn
Perimeter is the distance around a polygon. When in doubt, you can simply add up all of the sides of the shape.
Since squares have all equal sides, we can use a shortcut formula. If s is the length of each side, then P = 4*s.
Example: If a square has side lengths of 6 feet, then the perimeter is 6*4 = 24 feet.
