There is an inverse relationship between multiplication and division just like there was between addition and subtraction.
Example: Since 3 * 7 = 21 then the following are also true:
21 ÷ 3 = 7
21 ÷ 7 = 3
Similar relationships exist for division.
Example: Since 45 ÷ 5 = 9 then the following are also true:
9 * 5 = 45
5 * 9 = 45
