The fraction 8/100 could be written as the decimal 0.08, which could be pronounced as

  • EIGHT HUNDREDTHS
  • ZERO POINT OH-EIGHT

A decimal may be greater than one. The decimal 15.37 would be pronounced as FIFTEEN AND THIRTY-SEVEN HUNDREDTHS.
