Volume of a Cube

Volume is the three-dimensional space within a solid shape. The units of volume are the cubes of the units of length (that is, if a shape's sides are measured in meters, then the shape's area is measured in cubic meters).
Since all of the side lengths of a cube are identical, we can calculate the volume of a cube by multiplying the side length by itself 3 times. You might see this as the formula V=s3
For example, the volume of a cube with side length 5m is 5*5*5 = 125m3.
